profile picture of Beth Hoff Welcome to my website—I hope you find it useful.  Here is a little background information for you:  I grew up in western South Dakota, where I graduated from McIntosh High School.  I attended Moorhead State University and majored in elementary ed and got my masters in special education.  I live in LaMoure with my husband, Wayne, and our four children: Katrina, Rachel, Andrew and Lukas.  I have been teaching since 1995.  My favorite part of my job is working with students and capturing the funny moments and sayings heard over the years.  The list of fun stories is endless.  Other activities I enjoy include:  lake fun–skiing, tubing,  jet-skiing, volunteering to work with the 5th and 6th graders in religion, and watching my own children and students participate in their activities. If there is ever anything I can do to help you or your child or  if you’d like to see something added to my website please feel free to call me at the school at 701-883-5396.

The following are list of websites that I thought would be useful for parents and students.

This is our James River Special Education Unit website.  If you have any questions regarding any aspect of special education this is an excellent site.
This website can help your child study for the ACT or to explore different career options and training needed for that career.  If you need your child’s username and password call me and I can give it to you–in case you want to do some of this at home.

This is a fun website that has different activities that you feel any of your children can use for practice.  My kids like to practice their math facts from this website-they are listed at grade level.
This is the website parents can go to access their child’s grade.  You were given a username and password for each child in a letter from the office.  If you don’t have one or are unsure please contact Vicki Hebl.
