About me: Mrs. Jansen
Hello, my name is Danielle Jansen. I recently just got married, so I had a very busy summer, but am excited to start my fourth year at LaMoure Public School. Again this year, you will find me in the resource room as one of the high school Special Education Teachers. I grew up in the western part of North Dakota in Zap and graduated from Beulah High School. I graduated from Minot State University with a Master’s Degree as a Special Education Strategist. Previously, I taught Elementary Special Education in Williston, ND for two years. Then I moved to be closer to my family and taught K-12 Special Education in Glen Ullin, ND for one year, before coming to LaMoure in 2013. In my spare time I enjoy doing crafts, baking, watching movies, hunting, and spending time with my friends and family.
About my Para
Hi! My name is Megan Shockman and I am excited to be starting my third year as a Special Ed. Para here in LaMoure. I grew up in Milford, NE and love going back to the farm any chance I can get! I graduated from Grace University in Omaha, NE with my degree in Elementary Education as well as an ELL endorsement. My husband, Jordan, grew up in LaMoure and we recently moved back here from Omaha. I love to read and cook in my free time and as an ex-barista I really enjoy good coffee! I can’t wait to get to know your children and help facilitate their learning in any way I can.
