Summer Meals Being Served
The meal program sponsored by the USDA is slated to continue through September 30th of
2021. That means that breakfast and lunch meals served through the school are free for all
students. The LaMoure School will participate in the summer meals served program if there is
enough interest in the program. The LaMoure School would like a minimum of 150
participants to make the program feasible. The program is eligible for all youth ages 1-18.
Some key points in the program:
1. There is no cost for the meals of participating youth.
2. The program will start June 1st and end July 16th
3. The week of June 28th – July 1st, there will be no meals served that week.
4. The program will restart on July 6th
5. No meals on July 5th
6. One meal package (breakfast & Lunch) will be served at noon on Monday, Tuesday,
& Wednesday. Two meal packages (2 breakfast & 2 Lunch) will be served on
Thursday. This will constitute a Thursday and Friday meal.
7. The meals must be picked up at the LaMoure School around noon. No meal delivery
service will be provided by the school. Arrangements must be made by the
participants to pick up meals.
8. You must e-mail meals@lamoureschool.com to sign up for the meals. Please do so
by May 14th
9. This year we looking at a different milk option. After signifying how many people
involved in your family are participating, also signify in the e-mail which milk option
you would prefer. This does not mean we can accommodate that request, but will
look into this for a possible option.
a. Would like the two milk cartons each for each meal.
b. I would rather have this amount of milk cartons for each day. Indicate
amount.
c. I would prefer a ½ gallon or gallon container at the start of each week for the
milk portion.
