These kids have been busy wrapping up their learning in 4th. The Push Button Museum was themed with book characters. They presented fabulously to many Museum visitors! (Set 1 of 2)











The 4th grade wrapped up their year of SmartLab learning with coding Spheros and creating obstacles for the course. The 4 C's at its finest.








The 4th grade enjoyed the Red Hawks baseball game. Thanks to all who made this day great!

Concert Reflections from students after the Grades 4-6 Concert last week. These always make my heart happy.❤️









The freshmean did a lab on kinetic and potential energy. We made pendulum art!










Grades 4-6 Concert tonight, 7PM! Grades 5-6 are asked to wear anything they feel the most comfortable in. They are singing pop music, LHS LIVE style! Grade 4 may take their dress another step further and add 1950's flare to enhance the fun they will have performing '50's tunes. These freshmen and sophomores attended Northern State’s Math Competition on Thursday. Onika earned an Honorable Mention in the Algebra category and Zoe earned an Honorable Mention in Geometry!

The Small Groups Music Recital date has been changed to Wednesday, April 10th, at 4:00PM. The recital will be held in the LHS Music room and will last about 90 minutes. Come and listen to the music solos and groups that will perform at the Regional Small Groups Contest Saturday in Kulm!

7th and 8th graders at the Dakota Gasification Company & Great Plains Synfuels Plant- good day! Thanks Dave Lehr for driving, Mr. Diede for helping me chaperone students- tour guides Erin & Cheri! We learned lots! And also, thanks to our cooks for the food, and administration for letting us go!





The first couple of days in the SmartLab for the 4th grade students has proved how fast an hour goes by! Lots of hands on learning happening, and they are ready for it!










Round One of March Mammal Madness is in the books, folks! The major upset of round 1 would have to be the honey bee defeating the forest elephant! The sophomores have taken an almost two point lead in the bracket contest over the juniors!
