Administrator Spotlight Administrator Interview ~ Superintendent Mr. Mitch Carlson 1. Tell us about a professional success story that you are proud of. There are multiple success stories I am proud of during my tenure at LaMoure School. Assembling a great staff that is unified in generating the best educational opportunities for our school and students. I also have the great satisfaction of building projects that have occurred at the School and community that have pulled the patrons of the community together to get the projects completed. 2. What have been some of the most important lessons you have learned throughout your career? One of the most important lessons and in life I have learned is that you do not always have to be first or be the best in the outcome you’re achieving to define success. If you do your best, be a good teammate and a good person, and treat everyone with self-worth, the success stories will follow when following those simple rules. 3. Tell us a little bit about your family. I married Paulette Radermacher in 1992. We have a son Tanner, daughter Courtney, son-in-law Dillon and one grandchild Hayes. Both Tanner and Courtney have chosen the field of education for their profession. 4. What is something that you have always wanted to try or learn? An item that I have always been intrigued with is the law and politics. Although I am content with my current profession, as a second profession would be interested in exploring those areas. 5. If you could give advice to anyone, what would it be? My biggest advice to anyone is do what is right, even when nobody is looking. Give your best effort and treating others with respect will get you far in your professional and personal life. You are the core of our school! Thank you for all that you do! The 4th grade learned about a school and class in PA in the Great Mail Race. In return, they composed a letter back to tell about our great state and our community. They learned a new card game in place of Phy. Ed. and earned some Choice time, in addition to their regular classes!

Mrs. Carlson and her 4th grade students enjoyed helping the environment by filling many bags with litter on Loboe Give Back Day!
